As members of FACE , the UK facepainting association, we follow a strict code of Health & Safety Practice. We can provide a risk assessment for clients, please ask for further details. As a general guideline we : - Can only paint children aged 3 years and over - Cannot paint any child with exzema , psoraisis , conjunctivitis or any other open cuts or sores. - Do not paint closely around the eye area - Use a clean ,sterilised sponge & clean water for every child that we paint - Only use facepaints that are made specifically for facepainting & meet all European & International cosmetic safety standards - Cannot paint any child with an infectious illness , or who is recovering from any of the following : heavy cold, chest infection, chicken pox , etc etc. - Cannot paint any child who does not wish to be painted.
Our primary concern is for the safety and wellbeing of the children that we paint and our health & safety code of conduct is exercised with this in mind. We will never exclude any child from receiving some aspect of our services (however small) as we recognise that no child should ever feel excluded . We endeavour to ensure that every child is included in a manner that is safe and appropriate to them, so that everyone can join in the fun ! " - Funk It ! face painting & body art UK hold full public liability insurance upto 5m . All of our team are CRB checked and members of FACE, the UK Face painting association. We can supply Welsh speaking team members , and those conversant in BSL upon request.
